The Story That Made Them

Aurelia inherited a title built from contradiction. The Butterfly Witches protected Ardevane for generations, yet their greatest act of defense transformed the Voraxn and left curse residue inside the Vira Crucible.
Helena Myst trained her daughter to listen before casting: to distinguish a wounded ecosystem from an angry spirit, and a dangerous AGC activation from a person who simply needed guidance. When Helena died, Aurelia became matriarch before she believed the lineage's debt had been fully explained.
Aurelia now monitors the Vira Crucible, the Voraxn hunger, and the spread of AGC expression across the world. She does not regard alteredhumans as mistakes. They are living consequences whose freedom must matter more than the witches' desire to correct history.
Her gift of the Butterfly's Embrace to Guy Garland shows how her philosophy differs from Minka's moment of vengeance. Aurelia uses transformation to create connection and responsibility, but every new intervention risks proving that the lineage still believes it has the right to change other lives.
